A Stand for Refugees and Immigrants.

A Stand for Refugees and Immigrants.
January 29th 2017.
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport.

Thousands of protesters gathered at the Atlanta airport, The Marta trains were scattered with people holding signs, using public transport to get to the airport. Protesters were packed along both walkways on either side of the road, holding up signs and using megaphones. Even some of the cars driving by honked melodies and held signs out their windows. Eventually some of the protester spilled inside and were eventually physically pushed out of the airport by security and were threatened with arrest if they didn't comply. It was a beautiful sight to behold, thousands of people from various walks of life and cultures coming to gather to protest in unison, peacefully. This is what America is suppose to be about, a melting pot of once immigrants coming together to exercise their First Amendment rights. Here is my documentation of these events.
